French Open 2026: Sabalenka v Osaka to Headline Night Session

Aryna Sabalenka’s fourth-round match against Naomi Osaka will be the first women’s match to take place in the French Open’s night-time slot since 2023. Only four of the first 60 slots on Court Philippe Chatrier had contained a women’s match since the evening sessions were introduced in 2021. Sabalenka v Osaka will be the fifth.

Defending champion Coco Gauff has exited the French Open after a third-round defeat by Anastasia Potapova. Gauff, a two-time Grand Slam champion, lost 4-6 7-6 (7-1) 6-4 to Potapova. The win means Potapova is into the fourth round at Roland Garros for the second time.
