Katherine Legge has qualified for the Indianapolis 500. She will attempt to become the first woman to race in both the Indy 500 and NASCAR’s Coca-Cola 600 on the same day. Legge will be the oldest driver to attempt the Double and the first non-American-born driver to do it.

The Hackney Half, London’s largest half marathon, is back. Roads around London Fields, Victoria Park, Hackney Downs and Hackney Marshes will be shut for the event on Sunday May 17. More than 27,000 people will be taking part.
