Olivia Rodrigo Logo to Feature on Barcelona Jersey for El Clasico

Barcelona’s latest kit design for El Clasico will feature the logo of American singer Olivia Rodrigo.

The kit is part of their sponsorship deal with Spotify.

Barcelona’s Managing Director on the New Kit

Barcelona’s managing director, Manel del Río, discussed the new design.

“Clásico after Clásico, our agreement with Spotify allows us to strengthen an activation that has become a strategic asset for the club and a clear example of our commitment to generating value beyond competition,” said Manel del Río.

“It’s an initiative that adds value, reinforces our global positioning, and builds a distinctive offering based on the connection between culture and sport.”

Olivia Rodrigo’s Reaction

Rodrigo shared her excitement about her logo appearing on the Barcelona shirt.

“Seeing OR on a Barcelona jersey for El Clásico, I don’t even know how to process that. It’s been so fun seeing the jersey come to life and creating a full collection with Spotify and Barca,” she told the club’s media.

Olivia Rodrigo will also perform a private concert on May 8, exclusively for her most dedicated fans in Barcelona.

“On top of that, getting to perform for the fans who’ve been listening since day one, in a city like Barcelona, is going to be so special. That’s everything to me. I cannot wait to see them.”

When the New Kit Will Debut

The shirt will debut on May 6th when Barca Femeni wear it for the first time against Levante.

Hansi Flick’s side will then use it for the Clasico at Camp Nou on May 10th.
