De’Aaron Fox’s Wife Shows Spurs Support Ahead of Game 7

The San Antonio Spurs are preparing for Game 7 of their Western Conference Finals series against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The winner will face the New York Knicks in the NBA Finals.

Much of the Spurs’ success depends on superstar forward Victor Wembanyama. The Thunder often focus on slowing him down, requiring other players to perform well if San Antonio hopes to win on the road.

Fox Under Pressure in Game 7

Veteran guard De’Aaron Fox is one of the players facing pressure. He is the Spurs’ third-leading scorer in the postseason but missed the first two games of the series due to injury.

Since returning, Fox’s offensive output has been below his usual standards. He hasn’t scored more than 15 points against the Thunder in this series. This will likely need to change in Game 7 if the Spurs are to beat the defending NBA champions on their home court.

Recee Fox’s Support From Home

Fox will have the support of his wife, Recee. They have been together since 2018, after meeting outside a hotel in Las Vegas.

The couple got engaged in 2020 and married in 2022, and they now have two children together.

Recee doesn’t appear to be in Oklahoma City for Game 7. She posted a selfie on her Instagram story on May 30 with their son, Reign.

Recee was wearing a custom Spurs t-shirt featuring Fox, while Reign wore his father’s jersey and Spurs trousers.

Managing her children, especially with De’Aaron in the middle of his season, likely prevents Recee from travelling to the Thunder’s home court.

Family Support for Crucial Game

Fox knows he has the support of his family before what may be the biggest game of his life.

He’ll need to support Victor Wembanyama if San Antonio is to advance to the NBA Finals.
