A Bournemouth footballer is set to take centre stage at Wembley as Tyrrell Sampson will feature for AFC Stoneham in the FA Vase Final this weekend.
Sampson’s Bournemouth Roots
Sampson was born and raised in Bournemouth and still lives in the town while playing for the Hampshire club.
The 26-year-old progressed through youth football in Bournemouth and has represented Poole Town as both a 16-year-old and in the Southern League.
He represented the Dolphins at the start of the 25/26 season, joining them from Stoneham, but he moved back to the Hampshire club in September.
Road to Wembley
Sampson and his Stoneham teammates confirmed their spot in the final with a 6-1 aggregate win over Hallen in the semifinal.
The Wessex League champions will meet Cockfosters this Sunday.

AFC Stoneham face Cockfosters on Sunday, May 17 at Wembley, kick off at 12.30pm.
