Mayor Baldwin and the City of North Myrtle Beach recognised White, a native of the area.
Recognition at Surf Golf & Beach Club
The ceremony took place at the Surf Golf & Beach Club.
White received a personalised golf bag.
She also received a personalised engraved plaque on a dedicated locker in the ladies’ locker room.
Honouring a Career and Philanthropy
Officials said the recognition from Mayor Baldwin highlighted White’s Wheel of Fortune career.
Her philanthropic impact was also recognised, including more than $2 million raised for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The honour also acknowledged her lasting connection to the city.
