UFC White House Card: McGregor Inclusion Teased by Dana White

Dana White is delaying the announcement of the UFC White House card lineup, but suggested Conor McGregor could be one of the fighters selected.

McGregor’s Potential White House Appearance

Conor McGregor has been linked with a return to the octagon for several years. Fans have been waiting for fight news since his scheduled bout fallout against Michael Chandler in 2024. Reports of McGregor appearing at the White House are heating up, but Dana White has not shared the fight card selection.

White confirmed, “I’ll announce the whole card this week. The card’s done.”

White’s Secrecy Around the Card

Since the event’s announcement, there has been strong speculation about who will feature. Dana White is keeping his cards close to his chest until the time is right, instead of building extra hype for the event. White believes the once-in-a-lifetime occasion will do that without the added promotion.

“We’ve been so secretive about this. So, I have all these boards, which I’m sure you’ve seen, hanging in our war room. This isn’t even on the board. We bring in a whiteboard, we write the fights down, and then we erase them. Every time we have a matchmaking meeting. Which usually, matchmaking meetings are every Tuesday. They’ve been every day for the last, you know, two and a half weeks.”

Other Fighters in the Mix

Numerous names are being mentioned alongside the White House card. Jon Jones and Alex Pereira are often referenced. However, Conor McGregor may be the most commonly linked.

Dana White is quick to shoot down reporters’ questions regarding fighters’ next outings, but has left the door open for a McGregor White House showing.

“We’ll see,” White continued. “We’ll see, brother.”

Speculation continues about who will be the chosen few to fight on the White House South Lawn.
