Torreense have won the Women’s League Cup for the first time, after seven editions of the competition. The team from Torres Vedras defeated Valadares Gaia 1-0 in the final.
Konst’s Late Goal Secures the Win
The final was held at the Estádio Municipal do Fontelo, in Viseu. It was a balanced game that was hard-fought until the very end.
Torreense ultimately lifted the trophy thanks to a late goal. Gerda Konst scored the only goal of the match in the 87th minute.
