Burkhardt and Olsen previously called Super Bowl LVII together for Fox. In 2025, Burkhardt and Brady are scheduled to call Super Bowl LIX.
Flag Football Classic Details
The Flag Football Classic will feature Brady alongside active NFL players, including Jalen Hurts. Brady’s team will be coached by Sean Payton.
A second team will include Jayden Daniels and Joe Burrow, coached by Kyle Shanahan. A third team will feature players from USA Football’s Men’s National Team. The game will air from 4 p.m. ET to 8:30 p.m. ET.
The event was originally scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Due to geopolitical events in the Middle East, the game was relocated to Los Angeles. It will now be played at BMO Stadium, the site for the flag football competition at the 2028 Summer Olympics.
The USA Football’s Men’s National Team, the reigning flag world champions, will add competitive juice to the showcase. They will potentially compete with present and past NFL players for spots on a would-be U.S. Olympic team in 2028.
The Fanatics Flag Football Classic promises a showcase of talent, with NFL stars and seasoned flag football players sharing the field in Los Angeles.
