Strade Bianche, considered one of the best races, is coming. The startlists look promising for this “monument”.
Pogačar’s Return and Potential Challengers
Tadej Pogačar is back. The Slovenian will debut his season at Strade Bianche. Upstarts such as Paul Seixas and Tom Pidcock will attempt to take the double defending champion’s crown in Siena.
Isaac del Toro, Pogi’s teammate, may also upset the hierarchy at team UAE.
Ferrand-Prévot’s Tuscany Start
Pauline Ferrand-Prévot will kickstart her 2026 in Tuscany. She will be competing against a number of other racers.
Two-time Strade Bianche Donne winners Demi Vollering and Lotte Kopecky will be on the start line. Road and CX world champions Magdeliene Vallieres and Lucinda Brand will also compete.
Changes to the Race Format
The men’s and women’s races could pack even more punch in 2026 than in recent years.
Race organizers RCS have trimmed the overall distances of Saturday’s races. They have also reduced the density of sterrato to promote more open, explosive racing.
Viewing Details
Both the men’s and women’s races will be broadcast live. Highlights packages will also be available.
