Lionel Messi’s anticipated appearance in Utah is expected to be one of the state’s largest sporting events. To mark the occasion, an F-35A Lightning flyover will take place before the Real Salt Lake vs. Inter Miami CF game.
Fighter Jets to Mark Messi’s Utah Arrival
Airmen from the 388th and 419th Fighter Wings from Hill Air Force base will conduct the flyover. The jets are scheduled to fly over America First Field at around 7:40 p.m.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early to witness the spectacle. The jets are expected to fly only 1,000 feet above the stadium.
Coordination for the Flyover
More than 40 people are involved in orchestrating the flyover. They are working together to ensure its success.
The 419th FW is reportedly the first Air Force Reserve unit to fly and deploy with the operational F-35A. The 419th and 388th at Hill AFB fly and maintain a fleet of 78 jets in a Total Force partnership, capitalising on the strength of both the active duty and reserve components.
Ticket Prices Soar for the Match
Tickets are still available for purchase. The current “get in the door” price is $431, far exceeding the normal rate for RSL tickets.
Some tickets are even going for over $1,000. For some fans, that is a small price to pay to see their favourite player.
Thousands of fans are lining up outside of the RSL game, ready to watch Lionel Messi.
The game promises to be a memorable event, blending the excitement of football with a military air display.
