Phoenix Suns starting centre Mark Williams will be re-evaluated in two to three weeks. This is due to a left foot stress reaction, according to the team.
Williams Ruled Out Against Bulls
Williams had already been ruled out for Thursday’s game against the Chicago Bulls. He was listed with left foot soreness on the NBA injury report.
Impact on the Suns’ Line-Up
Williams has appeared in a career-high 56 regular season games. He is averaging 11.6 points (on 63.3% shooting), 8.1 rebounds and an assist per game. Williams has made 52 starts and logged 23.6 minutes per contest.
Second-year pro Oso Ighodaro and rookie Khaman Maluach will now be in line for a boost in on-court time. Phoenix are currently the No. 7 seed and fighting to get out of the Western Conference play-in picture.
