Phoenix Suns Sweep Season Series Against Sacramento Kings

The Phoenix Suns beat the Sacramento Kings 114-103 on Tuesday night to sweep their four-game season series.

Jalen Green led the Suns with 20 points. Grayson Allen added 18 points.

The Suns are seventh in the West with a record of 35-26.

Booker Returns From Injury

Devin Booker returned for the Suns after missing four games due to a right hip injury. He scored 17 points, with 14 of those coming in the first half.

Collin Gillespie also contributed 17 points for Phoenix, hitting 5 of 8 3-pointers. Gillespie also had nine assists and six rebounds. Oso Ighodaro recorded a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds.

Dillon Brooks remains out for Phoenix due to a fractured left hand.

Kings’ Struggles Continue

Maxime Raynaud scored 22 points for the Kings, shooting 10-of-12 from the field, and grabbed 10 rebounds. Precious Achiuwa added 18 points, DeMar DeRozan had 17, and Russell Westbrook scored 16.

The Kings’ record fell to 14-49. Keegan Murray missed his third straight game with an ankle injury.

Turning Point in the Third

Phoenix used a 14-0 run in the third quarter to take control of the game. The run turned a 63-62 deficit into a 76-63 lead for the Suns.

Royce O’Neale capped the run with consecutive 3-pointers.

Phoenix led 59-55 at halftime. Ighodaro had 12 points and 10 rebounds in the first half, while Achiuwa had 16 points for Sacramento.

Looking Ahead

The Suns will host Chicago on Thursday night. The Kings will host New Orleans on Thursday night.
