The Beach Volleyball Men’s National Team, composed of Yusuf Özdemir and Batuhan Kuru, participated in the fifth leg of the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Challenge organised by FIVB in Nuvali.
The tournament was held in the Philippines.
Match Results
The team of Yusuf Özdemir and Batuhan Kuru faced Germany’s Jonas Sagstetter and Benedikt Sagstetter in their first match in Group F. The Turkish team lost the match 2-0.
In their second match, the representatives faced the USA’s Evan Cory and Derek Bradford. They won this match with a score of 2-0.
This victory secured their place in the round of 24.
In the round of 24, Yusuf Özdemir and Batuhan Kuru played against Poland’s Piotr Kantor and Filip Lejawa. The Turkish duo lost to their opponents 2-1 and were eliminated from the competition.
