Olivia Miles is making waves with the third-seeded TCU Horned Frogs as they head into the NCAA Tournament. TCU, who finished first in the Big 12 with a 29-5 record, will face the 14th-seeded UC San Diego Tritons in the first round on March 20.
Miles’ Impact at TCU
Miles, a graduate student, is making a significant impact for the Horned Frogs. She leads the team in scoring with 19.6 points per game, minutes played at 35.0, and assists with 6.4 per game. Miles earned her political science degree over four seasons at Notre Dame.
WNBA Potential and Transfer Decision
Miles was projected as the No. 2 overall pick for the 2025 WNBA Draft. However, she opted to use her final year of eligibility to transfer to TCU.
After returning from a knee injury, Miles wanted to gain more confidence in her game. She didn’t feel emotionally, mentally or physically ready to go to the WNBA.
