Matt Wallace in Contention at Texas Open as Fourth Round Resumes

England’s Matt Wallace is in contention at the Texas Open after a strong performance. Play was interrupted due to weather, with the fourth round now underway.

MacIntyre Leads After Third Round

Robert MacIntyre of Scotland holds the lead after the third round, with a narrow advantage. A bogey at the 18th saw his lead reduced after the weather-interrupted third round of the Texas Open. MacIntyre’s lead had been four shots but was cut to two by Ludvig Aberg when play was suspended on Saturday due to storms.

When play resumed in San Antonio, MacIntyre picked up a shot at his opening hole. He then dropped a shot at the ninth. A further dropped shot at the last led to a round of 72, reducing his lead to one.

Wallace Moves Into Contention

Matt Wallace moved into contention with a round of 64. He is chasing a second PGA Tour career win.

Other Players in the Mix
