Since her retirement in 2020, Sharapova is not accustomed to appearing at tournaments. This time, however, she decided to attend live the women’s semifinals of Indian Wells 2026.
Sharapova Returns to Indian Wells as Spectator
The women’s semifinals at Indian Wells 2026 feature Aryna Sabalenka facing Linda Noskova and Elina Svitolina playing against Elena Rybakina.
Sharapova will return to the Coachella desert, a place she already conquered in 2006 and 2013.
This time, though, it is as a luxury spectator.
