Lucas Moura has been named in the São Paulo squad for Wednesday’s match against Atlético-MG. The game will be played on the artificial pitch at the Arena MRV.
Last year, Moura was vocal about his concerns regarding artificial pitches. These concerns arose after he suffered a knee ligament injury in March last year at the Allianz Parque.
Earlier this season, Moura missed a match against Palmeiras in the Paulistão due to the artificial pitch. São Paulo lost that match 3-1.
However, he did play in the state championship semi-final against Palmeiras, which São Paulo lost 2-1.
