The Las Vegas Raiders have selected wide receiver Malik Benson with the No. 195 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Benson’s Journey to the Raiders
The Raiders acquired the No. 195 overall pick from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to select Benson. He is a Kansas native.
Before arriving in the NFL, Benson played receiver, cornerback and kick returner in high school before committing to Hutchinson Community College. He recorded 2,152 receiving yards over two seasons, ranking second in school history with 21 receiving touchdowns.
College Career Highlights
Benson, the No. 1 JUCO prospect in the nation, transferred to Alabama and later Florida State. Over two seasons he compiled 473 yards on 38 receptions.
He used his graduate transfer to head to Oregon, amassing 716 yards on a career-high 43 receptions with six touchdowns in 2025. At Oregon he averaged nearly 18 yards per punt return, including an 85-yard punt return touchdown in Oregon’s win over USC in Week 11.
NFL Combine Performance
At the NFL Combine, Benson clocked a 4.37 40-yard dash time. This ranked in the top ten fastest receivers who participated.
