The Los Angeles Lakers are back home to face the Brooklyn Nets after a six-game road trip where they went 5-1. The Lakers hold a 47-26 record as the regular-season schedule winds down, and they are trying to hold on to the third spot in the Western Conference.
Doncic and Hachimura’s Availability
Luka Doncic and Rui Hachimura were listed as questionable for Friday’s game. The pair were suffering from hamstring and calf ailments, respectively.
However, both will be available to play against the Nets.
Hachimura missed the Lakers’ last two games.
Smart and Thiero Ruled Out
Veteran guard Marcus Smart and rookie forward Adou Thiero, on the other hand, will be out of action on Friday.
Doncic’s Impressive Run
Doncic has been on a fantastic run throughout March. The Slovenian superstar has won the last two Western Conference Player of the Week awards.
He just became the first NBA player to average at least 40 points over six games on the road since Michael Jordan during the 1986-87 season.
Six of the Lakers’ remaining nine games will be at Crypto.com Arena, and for the most part, their remaining schedule is fairly manageable.
