Kyle Karros finds himself on the bench for Thursday’s series opener against the Padres.
Karros’ Recent Performance
This marks Karros’ first absence from the starting lineup since Sunday. He did, however, start in all three games of the series against Houston afterwards.
In those three games against Houston, Karros went 2-for-7. He also managed to secure four walks and drive in one run in the series that concluded on Wednesday.
Castro Shifts to Third
With Karros sitting on the bench, Willi Castro is set to take over at the hot corner. Edouard Julien will be starting at second base.
