According to the Turkish Tennis Federation, Sonmez will face world No. 62 Daria Kasatkina in the first round of the main draw, which begins on Sunday.
Sonmez recently climbed to a career-high ranking of No. 59.
She has become the highest-ranked Turkish female tennis player in history.
