Deere & Company and Major League Baseball (MLB) have announced a new multi-year partnership. The agreement sees John Deere become the Official Tractor of MLB.
The partnership connects two legacy brands rooted in everyday American life. These brands are fixtures from ballfields and backyards to farms and green spaces across the country.
Deere’s Role as Official Tractor
As the Official Tractor of MLB, John Deere will have marketing assets across digital and linear media. These assets will highlight the work that goes into every season. The focus will be on maintaining backyards and caring for ballfields across communities where baseball is played.
John Deere and MLB will recognise the people whose care and consistency make these places ready for play, work, and everyday life. This recognition will be further illustrated through a new creative campaign developed by Deere.
Jon Chase, John Deere’s head of turf and utility equipment, said that for nearly two centuries, John Deere has stood alongside the hard-working, dedicated people who care for the land and who build our communities. He added that the partnership with Major League Baseball allows them to celebrate America’s favourite pastime, teams, players, and the people who show up every day to build and grow America.
Multimedia Advertising and Experiential Presence
Throughout the season, a 360-degree multimedia advertising program will showcase the new partnership. This includes experiential activations on the ground.
These activations will occur at both the 2026 MLB at Field of Dreams game in Dyersville, Iowa, and MLB All-Star Week in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Field of Dreams game takes place in the heart of John Deere country, where baseball tradition meets agricultural heritage.
