Jacob Fatu Injury Casts Doubt on Clash in Italy Match

Jacob Fatu’s status for the Clash in Italy is now uncertain after a reported injury. He is scheduled to challenge Roman Reigns in Tribal Combat for the World Heavyweight Championship on Sunday.

Fatu’s Injury Reported

Doubt has been cast over Fatu’s status after a reported injury suffered at a live event on Thursday. Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com reported the injury.

Cory Hays of False Finish provided more information.

The Rivalry With Reigns

Fatu is scheduled to challenge Roman Reigns in Tribal Combat for the World Heavyweight Championship at the Clash in Italy. The two have engaged in a heated rivalry ever since. Fatu challenged Reigns to Tribal Combat on the May 18 edition of Raw.

Reigns defeated Fatu at Backlash after using an exposed turnbuckle to injure him before finishing him off with a spear. However, Fatu got the last laugh, applying the Tongan Death Grip on Reigns and even standing with the champion’s belt as the show closed.

Questions Surround Clash in Italy

Now Fatu will presumably get another shot at the belt he richly desires. However, the reported injury certainly brings some questions into the mix.

As of now, Fatu is still slated to participate in Clash in Italy. Hopefully he’s still able to wrestle and get his second chance at Reigns’ belt.
