NFL free agency has begun, and teams are making moves to improve their rosters for the upcoming season. The new league year begins Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET, after which free agent signings can be made official. The first round of the 2026 NFL draft begins April 23 on ESPN.
Giants Sign Likely to Boost Offense
The New York Giants are expected to add John Harbaugh on a three-year deal. As well, they are set to acquire a weapon for quarterback Jaxson Dart. This move is to offset the expected loss of wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson.
The Giants are likely to sign Likely, who has a preexisting relationship with coach John Harbaugh from Baltimore. This is a scheme-defining move for the Giants.
With Likely and Theo Johnson on the roster, the Giants are expected to utilise a lot of 12 personnel with two tight ends. The Giants are banking on Likely elevating his performance with increased opportunities as their “F” or move tight end. He will be used all over the field.
