Francois Prinsloo has announced his release from WWE. The developmental talent shared an emotional statement reflecting on his short time with the company.
Prinsloo Reflects on WWE Experience
Prinsloo described WWE as “nothing but a blessing.” He thanked the coaches, medical staff and fellow talent who supported him through multiple injuries. Prinsloo admitted it was difficult seeing his journey end before it truly began.
The 24-year-old South African athlete also hinted at future plans, saying the experience left him “hungrier” moving forward. Before signing with WWE in 2025, Prinsloo represented South Africa in discus throw. He also competed at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Hendrix Voices Release Fears
Kam Hendrix has admitted he fears being released from WWE. He said he constantly feels pressure to evolve and prove himself on the NXT roster. Speaking in a WWE preview clip for the latest season of WWE LFG, Hendrix said he knows “anyone can be cut for any reason”. Hendrix described WWE as an environment where nothing is guaranteed.
The 29-year-old, who signed with WWE in 2024 after a football career, has become a regular face on WWE NXT in recent months. Hendrix also suggested concerns among developmental talent have increased following Drake Morreaux being sent to AAA rather than receiving an NXT promotion.
