Michael Dunlop was fastest in the Supersport class during the opening qualifying session at the Isle of Man TT.
Ryan and Callum Crowe topped the Sidecar qualifying session, which was shortened following a red flag.
Supersport and Sportbike Qualifying Results
Michael Dunlop lapped over 2mph faster than Josh Brookes, who finished second in the Supersport qualifying session. Peter Hickman completed the top three.
Dean Harrison encountered an issue with the pit limiter on the Honda CBR600RR and didn’t set a time. Paul Jordan topped the Sportbike session, ahead of Jamie Coward and Mike Browne. Jordan was the only rider to break the 120mph barrier in the Sportbike class.
Sidecar Session Red Flagged
Ryan and Callum Crowe finished ahead of Peter Founds and Jevan Walmsley in the Sidecar qualifying session. Ben Birchall and Mark Wilkes completed the top three.
The Sidecar session was shortened due to a crash at Brandish involving Maria Costello and Shaun Parker. Costello suffered head injuries and Parker leg and arm injuries. Both were reported as conscious before being transferred to Noble’s Hospital by ambulance.
Superbike and Superstock Qualifying
Dean Harrison topped the Superbike and Superstock session. He set two laps in the 133mph bracket on the Superbike-spec Honda. Harrison also set the fifth-best time in the Superstock class during one lap on his Superstock bike.
Michael Dunlop only rode his Superbike, lapping over 3mph slower than Harrison but finishing second-fastest. Nathan Harrison rounded out the top three for Superbike. Josh Brookes was fastest in Superstock, followed by Peter Hickman and Jamie Coward.
