Chelsea and Manchester United are preparing to face off, but both teams are experiencing poor form.
United’s Recent Performance
Manchester United’s performance against Leeds was unimpressive. One observer likened it to watching the United of Ruben Amorim’s era. They had just had 24 days off, but they were as flat as anything.
Chelsea’s Form and Rosenior’s Decisions
Chelsea are also in poor form. There are concerns for their boss Liam Rosenior after their run of results. Rosenior’s decision to drop Enzo Fernandez against Manchester City is also being questioned. Why wouldn’t you want one of your best players to play in a big game like that?
The Road Ahead
Rosenior needs to secure Champions League football. He has a lot of work to do to get there. One pundit doesn’t fancy Chelsea at the back. However, if United are as flat again, he can see Chelsea getting back on track – but only just.
