Benson Boone has invested in Caliwater, a company providing prickly pear cactus water.
What is Caliwater?
Caliwater was co-founded by Oliver Trevena, who has acted alongside celebrities such as Gerard Butler and Nicolas Cage. Vanessa Hudgens is also a co-founder. Demi Lovato endorsed the brand’s blood orange flavour. Investors include Glen Powell, Gerard Butler, and Cody Bellinger.
The company positions Caliwater as hydrating, high in electrolytes and antioxidants while being low in calories and sugar. It is meant to be an alternative to coconut water. Caliwater wants to make it known that the product can stand on its own, in addition to advertising health and hydration benefits.
Caliwater’s Range of Flavours
The base of all of the drinks is prickly pear. Additional flavours include ginger and lime, pineapple, and watermelon.

These flavours purportedly make the beverage a great mixer for cocktails and mocktails. The company is also catering to a younger audience by launching kids’ pouches.
Caliwater’s Aims
Caliwater is making sure they run the gamut, providing all-day hydration. They aim to cover everything from the Little League game to the after-hours rager when all the carpool keys are in the bowl and the frazzled parents are looking for a way to unwind without wasting all those orange slices.
