The Avalanche are set to begin a two-game homestand as they host the Pittsburgh Penguins. The game will be part of Colorado Hockey Night. Bryan Rust gave Pittsburgh the lead in the third, but Utah’s Ian Cole tied the game. Noel Acciari then scored the game-winner for the Penguins.
