The Detroit Lions have agreed to a deal with Isiah Pacheco. Pacheco will pair with Jahmyr Gibbs and fill the void left when the Lions agreed to trade David Montgomery to the Houston Texans last week. Pacheco, 27, was the Kansas City Chiefs’ starting running back for much of his time in the past four seasons.
Galatasaray are set to face Liverpool in the Champions League last 16. An artificial intelligence simulation has predicted Galatasaray’s chances of progressing in the competition. The simulation ran 10,000 times, forecasting the likelihood of Galatasaray reaching each stage.
Ahead of Liverpool’s Champions League match against Galatasaray, Alexis Mac Allister has praised Lucas Torreira. Mac Allister acknowledged Torreira’s quality, calling him a tough and successful player. He also discussed his own contract situation with Liverpool, stating there’s no rush to renew.

Experienced England defender Kyle Walker has retired from international football with immediate effect. The 35-year-old Burnley full-back has decided to call time on his career after winning 96 caps for the Three Lions and featuring at five major tournaments. Walker won the last of those caps in a friendly against Senegal at the City Ground in June 2025.
Saratoga, owned by JP McManus, has won the McCoy Contractors Juvenile Handicap Hurdle at Cheltenham. Mark Walsh rode Saratoga to victory. Sadly, Hansard, a 100-1 outsider, suffered a fatal injury in The Arkle.
