Ryan Berryman has been selected as the University of New Mexico’s director of athletics. The 32-year-old is a New Mexico native. He succeeds Fernando Lovo, who departed for the University of Colorado.

Arsenal capitalised on Manchester City’s draw by securing a 1-0 victory against Brighton. Bukayo Saka’s early goal proved to be the difference. The win extends Arsenal’s lead at the top of the Premier League to seven points.
Hawks forward Jalen Johnson exited Tuesday night’s 119-98 win over the Washington Wizards with a left hip flexor injury. Johnson was injured in the first quarter and ruled out after being evaluated by the training staff. He will be re-evaluated before the Hawks face the Wizards again Thursday.
