P.K. Subban has completed his $10 million donation to the Montreal Children’s Hospital. The former NHL player made the pledge over a decade ago while playing for the Canadiens. His efforts have helped approximately 100,000 children.
Cal Raleigh snapped an 0-for-38 slump with a single during the Mariners’ 10-2 victory over the Astros. The single came in the seventh inning. Raleigh later scored, and also singled in his next at-bat.
Pauline Astier, a rookie point guard for the New York Liberty, has put herself in elite territory. Astier joins Paige Bueckers and Candace Parker as the only rookies in WNBA history with at least 18 points, seven assists, five rebounds, and two steals on a 60% field goal percentage in a single game. She also became the first rookie in WNBA history to log at least 20 points and 10 assists with no more than two turnovers through her first two career games.
NFL teams are already looking ahead to the 2026 season schedule. Each team has specific requests, from easier home openers to avoiding certain primetime slots. The NFL will release the entire 2026 regular season schedule on Thursday night.

Arike Ogunbowale, a star for the Dallas Wings, debuted a special edition of Nike Kobe 6 Protro sneakers on WNBA Opening Day. The design takes inspiration from a Texas Rattlesnake. Ogunbowale is a known supporter of the Kobe line, alongside Caitlin Clark.
