Alex McLeish has said he can’t understand why Rangers never pursued a deal for Lawrence Shankland. McLeish revealed he advised an investor at the club to snap up the centre-forward a “few years back”. The Glaswegian club reasoned that they would rather sign players aged 26 or below.
