Regent’s Stroll was entered in the Jack Richards Novices’ Handicap Chase scheduled for 2pm. Il Ridoto is due to run in the Kim Muir Challenge Cup Amateurs’ Handicap Chase at 5:20pm.

Sir Alex Ferguson, aged 84, arrived at the prestigious racing event in the company of actor James Nesbitt, appearing relaxed as the pair made their way into the grounds.

Zara Tindall wore a chocolate velvet suit paired with a lime silk blouse and an eye-catching green hat adorned with rose detailing. The 44-year-old former Olympian accessorised with delicate golden drop earrings, while keeping her makeup understated with just a touch of pink lipstick. Her husband, Mike, 47, looked well-dressed in a checked suit complemented by a blue shirt.

Royal Presence at the Festival

Zara holds the position of Cheltenham Racecourse Director, a role that has seen her present at every day of this year’s festival alongside her husband.

Members of the Royal Family descended upon Cheltenham Festival in force as Ladies Day made its long-awaited comeback following a seven-year hiatus from the beloved racing tradition. Queen Camilla, Princess Anne, Zara Tindall and Carole Middleton were among the prominent attendees at the Gloucestershire racecourse on Wednesday. For Zara and her husband Mike Tindall, the occasion marked their second consecutive day at the races.
