Adam Peaty Models Speedo Amidst Family Estrangement

Adam Peaty showcased his physique while modelling the latest Speedo collection on Saturday. The Olympian, 31, shared poolside shots, seemingly unfazed by an ongoing family feud.

Peaty posed shirtless in tight-fitting blue swimming trunks, completing the look with reflective goggles and a black swimming cap. A joint post from the swimmer and the brand was captioned: ‘All in or nothing.’

Family Estrangement Claims

Claims have surfaced that Adam Peaty has left his grandmother, Mavis Williams, feeling ‘bewildered and saddened’. The alleged snub occurred on her 84th birthday on Wednesday. This came days after he publicly acknowledged Holly Ramsay’s brother, Oscar, turning seven.

Mavis Williams, known as ‘Olympic Nan’ for her support during the 2016 Rio Games, reportedly celebrated her birthday quietly at home with her daughter, Caroline, Adam’s mum. A source told the Daily Mail that there was no card, present, or text from Adam wishing his nan happy birthday.

The source added: ‘How could he ignore his 84-year-old nan who has only ever loved and supported him. She is quite bewildered by it. What has his nan done wrong It is very sad.’

The source further claimed that Peaty and Holly have ‘totally gaslighted’ Mavis, alleging they didn’t even send her a Christmas card or text. Mavis went viral for her support of Adam at the 2021 Olympics, where he won two gold medals, with #OlympicNan trending on X.

Details of the Wedding

Adam married Holly Ramsay, 26, in December at Bath Abbey. The wedding occurred amidst a reported feud that led to his mother, 60, being disinvited. His sister Bethany was said to be the only relative in attendance.

Despite the alleged snub of his grandmother, Adam shared a birthday tribute to his younger brother-in-law, Oscar, who turned seven last week. Mavis’s own account bio boasts ‘Proud Nan to a World Champion Breaststroker but has not been active since 2024.
