Hennessy Ready to Defend WBC Silver Title
Francesca Hennessy is set to defend her WBC Silver bantamweight title and her undefeated record against Aurora de Persio. Hennessy last fought four months ago, beating Ellie Boutell to extend her perfect record to eight victories. The 21-year-old is targeting a bout with undisputed bantamweight champion Cherneka Johnson later this year.
“This is another important test for me,” said Hennessy. “I’ve always wanted to challenge myself against good opponents because that’s what will prepare me for world title fights.”
