Arizona outfielder Corbin Carroll has been named as one of the top MLB DFS picks for Thursday.
According to a DFS professional, finding players who can outperform their price tags on sites like FanDuel and DraftKings is key to constructing a winning MLB DFS strategy.
Carroll’s Recent Performance
Corbin Carroll is priced at $5,400 on DraftKings and $3,900 on FanDuel.
Carroll has been performing well, with hits in eight consecutive games. This includes a 2-for-4 performance with two homers, three RBI and one walk on Sunday. He is hitting .285 with 11 doubles, six triples, seven homers and 24 RBI in 45 games this season.
Stacking with Arenado
Carroll is being stacked with third baseman Nolan Arenado. Arenado is priced at $3,300 on DraftKings and $3,100 on FanDuel. He has hits in each of his last three games, including two doubles in four at-bats in Tuesday’s 5-3 win over San Francisco. Arenado homered and had four RBI in Monday’s 12-2 win over the Giants. In 45 games this season, he is hitting .278 with nine doubles, seven homers and 25 RBI, with his batting splits their highest since 2022.
Other Considerations for DFS Lineups
Seven games are scheduled for Thursday’s Major League Baseball schedule. The first game begins at 1:10 p.m. ET, and the last first pitch is set for 9:40 p.m. ET. Other options in the MLB DFS player pool include Spencer Strider, Jose Soriano, Nick Kurtz, Ketel Marte, Matt Olson and Ben Rice.
