Trossard’s Wife Deletes Photos Amid Marriage Strain Claims

Leandro Trossard’s wife, Laura Hilven, has seemingly removed all evidence of him from her social media profiles, fuelling speculation about their marriage.

Hilven, 33, has deleted wedding day pictures and has not posted any photos showing her wearing her wedding ring since late last year. Pictures of her posing in an Arsenal shirt alongside Trossard have also disappeared from her social media channels.

Social Media Scrubbing

A source has told The Sun that Hilven’s Instagram profile used to feature numerous pictures of her and Trossard on their wedding day, holidays, and date nights. Now, according to the source, “If someone looked at her profile now, they would have no clue that they had ever been together, let alone married.”

Hilven has 35,000 followers on Instagram and previously posted regularly about her life with Trossard.

Among the deleted images are a picture from Trossard’s proposal in 2018, holiday photos, and one of the couple on the Emirates pitch at the end of last season.

Instagram Focus Shift

Hilven’s Instagram page now consists of pictures of her with family, her 33rd birthday celebration, a trip to Disneyland Paris, playing tennis, and a visit to Wimbledon.

The couple, who have been together for 13 years, married in 2019, the same year Trossard joined Brighton in the Premier League.

In a previous post featuring a picture from their wedding day, Hilven wrote: “I have been told many times, how beautiful it is, how deep it goes. But only since I know you I know that love really exists.”

Pressure on the Pitch

According to The Sun, the marriage has been under strain as Trossard aims to help Arsenal secure a Premier League and Champions League double.

Trossard started Tuesday’s Champions League semi-final second leg victory over Atletico Madrid. He is expected to feature when the Gunners play West Ham on Sunday.

Arsenal are aiming to secure their first league title in 22 years with victory in their final three domestic matches. The Gunners will then face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final in Budapest on May 30.
