Mbilli, a Cameroonian-born French boxer, claimed the super middleweight title of the World Boxing Council (CMB) in January. Known as “La Pantera,” Christian Mbilli Assomo-Hallier has an undefeated record of 29 wins, with 24 victories achieved by knockout, and one draw.
At 30 years old, Mbilli presents a challenge for Álvarez.
