The New York Mets are in a difficult position, currently grappling with an 11-game losing streak. This streak has given them the worst record in the National League, a tie for the worst in all of baseball. Considering their high payroll for 2026, their season’s performance is far from expectations.
Mets’ Struggles and Road Trip Woes
Jake Mintz and Jordan Shusterman discussed the Amazins’ rough road trip, which concluded with them getting swept in walk-off fashion by the Chicago Cubs on Sunday. The Mets are currently missing Juan Soto due to a calf injury. It remains to be seen how they will reverse their fortunes and end their losing streak.
