The Dallas Wings, buoyed by Paige Bueckers, are looking to prove their mettle this season after opening with a victory against the Indiana Fever.
Now, the Wings face the Atlanta Dream at home, with the Dream entering as slight favourites. Atlanta secured a one-point win against the Minnesota Lynx in their season opener.
Wings Look to Continue Winning Start
The Wings, who only managed 10 wins in the 2025 season, have added Azzi Fudd, Alanna Smith, Odyssey Sims, Alysha Clark and Jessica Shepard, adding depth to their roster.
The Dream are led by Rhyne Howard and Allisha Gray. They added Angel Reese this past offseason, and she recorded a double-double in her debut against the Lynx.
Reese’s Rebounding Prowess
Angel Reese could pose a challenge for the Wings. In their opener, the Wings secured just 43.5 percent of available rebounds, ranking them 13th in the league.
Reese, known for her rebounding skills, grabbed 14 boards in her first game. She has averaged 12.9 rebounds per game in her career and appears set to play a significant role at centre for the Dream.
High Scoring Potential
Both the Dream and the Wings demonstrated strong offensive capabilities in their opening games. Dallas scored 107 points against Indiana, leading the WNBA in pace during that game.
However, their defence allowed 104 points. Last season, Dallas allowed 109.1 points per 100 possessions, the second-worst in the WNBA.
The Dream scored 91 points against Minnesota, ranking fourth in pace this season. The high pace of both teams suggests a high-scoring game.
Betting Prediction
The OVER is the recommended bet for Tuesday night’s contest. The pick is OVER 181.5 (-110 at DraftKings).
Given the offensive performances of both teams in their openers, a high-scoring affair is anticipated.
