Virat Kohli Scores Against Gujarat Titans in IPL Qualifier

Virat Kohli was back in action for Royal Challengers Bengaluru against Gujarat Titans in Qualifier 1 of the Indian Premier League 2026 at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala on Tuesday evening.

Kohli’s Form Ahead of Qualifier 1

Kohli kicked off the 2026 season with an unbeaten match-winning knock of 69 runs as RCB decimated Sunrisers Hyderabad in the season opener.

He made quality starts against Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals in their next two games, but failed to convert the starts into big totals.

After scoring back-to-back ducks, Kohli returned to form in style as he scored an unbeaten century and helped RCB beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 6 wickets at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium, Raipur.

However, in the previous match against SRH, he was dismissed for a paltry 15 runs off 11 balls.

The Importance of Kohli’s Score

Kohli is expected to open the innings against GT in Qualifier 1. A big score will help RCB seal their place in the finals.
