Tyson Fury Relocates to Isle of Man After Home Intrusion

Tyson Fury has revealed that he moved to the Isle of Man due to a break-in at his family home.

Fury had been living in Morecambe for two decades, but has now relocated to the Isle of Man with his family.

Intruder Was “The Final Straw”

Fury told reporters that several incidents led to the decision to relocate. “Sometimes you can just be in a place too long and everybody knows where you live,” Fury said.

He described an incident involving an intruder: “The final straw was I had a [person] come over my gates, 40-foot Gates … I’ve got an attack dog, I’ve got everything.”

According to Fury, “The police came and he said: ‘I’m here to be adopted by Tyson and [wife] Paris.’ This man could have had a knife on him, or anything.”

Unwanted Visitors at Family Home

Fury also said that people were discovering his address and coming to his property. “The intercom was going all night. Every weekend, I’ve got [people] coming, parking outside the front, ringing the bell: ‘Is Tyson in, can I speak to Tyson?'”

He added, “Just drunken people. It’s just too much. When people know where you live you can be targeted at any time.”

Fury Set to Return to the Ring

Fury is scheduled to make his return to boxing after 16 months, facing Arslanbek Makhmudov. The fight is scheduled for Saturday.

He said, “This is my dream job and I have been able to do my dream job. I dreamed as a child of being the heavyweight world champion and I have lived it.”

Fury added, “It’s absolutely fabulous to be back boxing, this is my sixth stadium fight in a row. Wembley, Tottenham, Saudi, Saudi, Saudi and Tottenham again.”

He asked, “Has that even been done before, six stadiums in-a-row? Madness.”
