Tyrese Maxey Injury Update: Sixers Guard Listed as Questionable

Tyrese Maxey has been upgraded to questionable for the Philadelphia 76ers’ upcoming game against the Charlotte Hornets.

The Sixers are set to begin a 3-game road trip on Saturday when they take on the Charlotte Hornets. The Eastern Conference standings are all jumbled up at this stage of the season, making every game hugely important as the Sixers try to climb out of the play-in.

Maxey’s Potential Return

Maxey’s upgrade to questionable is a big development. He continues to take steps forward as he prepares for a return, having not played since March 7 due to a right finger tendon strain.

Oubre Jr.’s Status Also Uncertain

Kelly Oubre Jr. is also listed as questionable with a left elbow sprain. He is looking to make his return to the floor for the first time since March 10. He stated at practice on Friday that he is determined to play in this one, which would be a big help for the team if he can.

Embiid Ready to Play

Joel Embiid is not listed on the injury report. He made his return in Wednesday’s win over the Chicago Bulls following a 13-game absence and had 35 points.

Game Details

Johni Broome is sidelined due to right knee surgery recovery.

The Sixers and the Hornets will tip off at 6 p.m. EDT from the Spectrum Center on Saturday.
