Kyle Steyn returns to lead Glasgow Warriors versus the Bulls.
Injury Updates and Team Selection
The head coach provided an injury update which includes news of a key forward being out for the remainder of the season. Good news is that Brown and Cummings should be back in a couple of weeks or so. There is a bit of a surprise that Jones isn’t at 13, although he did have a bit of a shocker last week. TUI and Stafford in the centres will certainly give us some ballast in defence, a good left boot and a fairly potent attacking threat. Stafford has carried very well of late and deserves this start.
Ewan Ashman will make his 50th appearance for the club as starting hooker.
Warriors Prepare for Ferocious Battle
Glasgow Warriors are preparing for what is bound to be a ferocious forward battle against the Bulls. “We do speak about being the underdogs this week and what we need to do to be able to get a result there.”
The team wants to encourage the boys to play an attacking game and not to shy away from trying things, but mistakes will happen at this level.
Other Team News
No 8 Ben Muncaster and tight-head prop D’arcy Rae both return from injury to start in pack as capital side battle to keep their season alive. The 34-year-old Australia capped tight-head prop has made 37 appearances to date for the Scotstoun outfit since moving north from the Rebels in the summer of 2024.
