Moise Kouame is one set away from the third round. He faced a tough challenge.

Kouame and Vallejo are in a super tie-break. Kouame secured the first mini-break and then comfortably won both of his service points, displaying great composure.

The Frenchman demonstrated solidity. He won two more points on Vallejo’s serve before the change of ends. Kouame managed to level the score at 6-6 after an impressive service game featuring four winners, forcing a super tie-break after 4 hours and 40 minutes of play.

Vallejo held his serve after a game lasting more than 10 minutes, saving a break point. He took a 6-5 lead, putting pressure on Kouame’s serve.

Earlier, Kouame lost the third set to Francisco Cerundolo, who now leads by two sets to one: 2-6, 6-4, 6-2.
