The undercard for Ronda Rousey v Gina Carano on 16 May in California has been revealed. Muhammad Mokaev will fight Adriano Moraes in a flyweight bout. The event will consist of 11 bouts.
Mokaev Set for Moraes Fight
Muhammad Mokaev is set to face Adriano Moraes in a flyweight bout. Mokaev was released by the UFC in 2024 but has since collected three wins. He has also competed in several grappling bouts.
Mokaev, who moved to England as a young refugee, is unbeaten in 17 matches with one co-contest. Moraes, from Brazil, has 21 wins in 27 fights and recently became a free agent.
Ngannou, Diaz, and More on the Card
The event will feature Francis Ngannou v Philipe Lins in a heavyweight contest. Nate Diaz will face Mike Perry in a welterweight bout. Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) confirmed the bout in announcing the remainder of the undercard for Rousey’s comeback.
Former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos and UFC two-weight champion Alex Pereira’s sister Aline Pereira are also included on the card.
Rousey’s Return and MVP’s Influence
Ronda Rousey has not fought for 10 years, after retiring from MMA following successive losses. Rousey is returning to challenge the UFC. MVP has picked up several ex-UFC fighters and free agents for the event.
Among the former UFC fighters on the card are Rousey, Ngannou, Diaz, Perry, Lorenz Larkin, Robelis Despaigne and Chris Avila.

Namo Fazil v Jake Babian will be a welterweight match. David Mgoyan v Albert Morales is a featherweight bout. Aline Pereira vJade Masson-Wong will be a catchweight 130lb fight.
Moraes was a champion in Asia-based ONE Championship, Jackson was a Bellator champion and France’s Salahdine Parnasse won titles in two weights in European MMA promotion KSW.
