Romanian supporters travelling to Istanbul for the match against Turkey have been given details about a designated meeting point and planned activities.

Taksim Square – Gezi Park: The Gathering Point

Authorities have established Taksim Square – Gezi Park as the official meeting location for Romanian fans. The Fan Meeting Point will open at 15:45, where supporters can collect small flags from representatives of the Romanian Football Federation (FRF).

Fans are free to gather in Gezi Park. It is against the law to consume alcohol in public spaces, especially in this area. However, there are numerous licensed premises in Taksim Square and on Istiklal Street.

Fan Walk Details

A Fan Walk to the stadium is scheduled to begin at 16:45, if organised. The march will be supervised by the police, and the route to the stadium is approximately 800 metres via Prof. Dr. Bedri Karafagioglu Street. The hosts are responsible for the organisation, and the times are recommended by local authorities.

The stadium gates will open at 17:00. Supporters will only be granted entry upon presentation of a valid ticket and identification document.
