Robert Ruchała is preparing for his second fight in the UFC, facing Jose Delano at UFC Fight Night 272.
The event is scheduled for Saturday night, with the main card, including Ruchała’s fight, being broadcast on Polsat Sport 1 and online via Polsat Box Go.
Ruchała’s Return to the Octagon
Ruchała (MMA 11-2, 3 KO, 2 SUB) is returning to the UFC after a six-month break. His debut in September of last year resulted in a loss by decision to William Gomis (MMA 15-3, 7 KO, 1 SUB).
Ruchała trains in Krakow.
Facing UFC Debutant Jose Delano
His opponent, Jose Delano (MMA 16-3, 4 KO, 5 SUB), is a Brazilian making his UFC debut. Delano secured his UFC contract in August after winning at Dana White’s Contender Series against Manuel Exsposito (MMA 13-4, 3 KO, 7 SUB).
Delano previously competed in the LFA organisation.
Main Card Opportunity
The Ruchała versus Delano fight was initially planned for the preliminary card. However, a change in the fight card, due to the cancellation of Charles Radtke versus Jose Henrique, has moved Ruchała’s fight to the opening slot of the main card.
Ruchała is expected to enter the octagon shortly after 3:00 AM on Saturday night.
